National consumer-protection authority of Bulgaria. Enforces consumer-rights legislation across products and services, including AI-enabled services.
Designated as a national fundamental-rights authority under Article 77 of the EU AI Act for high-risk AI systems by Council of Ministers Decision No 398 of 18 June 2025.

Per the Bulgaria AI Note (Irena Koleva, April 2026), AI-enabled products and services are assessed under existing consumer-protection and product-liability rules, including prohibitions on unfair practices and obligations for safe products. The Commission is the primary enforcement venue for consumer-side AI complaints in Bulgaria.
