Per the Bulgaria AI Note (Irena Koleva, April 2026), the proposed national AI Bill includes explicit restrictions on AI-generated deepfake content and AI-assisted political advertising, with mandatory disclosure when AI is used in legislative drafting or political campaigning. The Commission is the lead Article 77 body for elections-side AI integrity.
