Nikhil is a Partner in Trilegal’s Bengaluru office and part of the firm’s TMT practice. He is a subject-matter expert in technology, media and telecommunications, and focuses on the interplay of technology, human lives, and the law.
He advises new-age e-commerce, fintech and technology companies in India on their business models and regulatory issues, including data protection. His telecom regulatory practice spans mobile telephony, enterprise services, satcom and cloud. He is regularly retained on technology policy matters by both private-sector and public-sector clients, and is called upon to advise on best practice during the consultation process for new legislation and regulation.
Nikhil has negotiated ICT agreements across South-East Asia, Europe and the Americas. He is the winner of the ITechLaw Travelling Fellowship Award (2011), as part of which he worked at six European technology-law firms.
